General

Do I need to sign up for your services?

You will need to register and create an account in order to begin the process of completing an application.  If you go to the Register button at top left, you can begin the process.  We may ask you a few questions at first to make sure Immigrate Simply is the right program for your immigration needs.

Can I change or edit my answers after downloading?

Yes, you can change or edit your answers at any time before or after you download your completed forms.  If you do change your information after downloading, make sure that you are submitting the correct version to the government.

Do you provide technical support?

We provide technical support related to the Immigrate Simply site, however we are unable to provide support for technical issues related to your PC, tablet or mobile device.

How do I download my forms?

Once you have registered and chosen your application type, you must enter all the required information.  Once all your information has been entered and you have submitted payment, you will be able to download the completed forms.  Note, you can choose Free Preview at anytime and it will display the first page of your application, which has the contact information you have entered. 

Do you offer specific immigration advice?

We supply the government hints and advice found on the IRCC website along with the relevant questions.  These hints are meant to help you respond correctly to the question and avoid common errors. It is very important to answer all questions completely and truthfully, and to review the information provided with each question.  However, we cannot offer specific immigration advice because we are not representing immigration professionals. 

Does Immigrate Simply file my application for me?

No, Immigrate Simply does NOT submit your application to the government.  After you download your completed PDF forms, you must submit them to government with the necessary documentation.  We provide a document checklist and list of next steps, after you download your application.

Can I use the same basic information for another application and get a discount?

another good question – is there a way for people to ‘copy’ information to another application – might prevent them from changing individual PDFs

Do you offer any guarantees?

The Canadian government can choose to reject any application based on their own criteria. Therefore, we cannot guarantee your application will be accepted.  Our goal is to increase the probability it will be accepted by helping you avoid common mistakes. We also use the most up-to-date form from the government, so you do not risk submitting an outdated form that will be rejected.  We strongly recommend that you download your form the same day you plan to upload it to IRCC.  If the form has changed, you will be notified when you download.  We will also send emails to registered users when a form is updated. You can download your completed form up to 5 times.

Do you have an immigration discussion forum?

Unfortunately, we cannot host a discussion forum because we cannot give immigration advice.  We recommend you try Immigrate Simply and see how easy it is to find the hints and tips to assist you in completing your application.

Why is there a timer counting down at the top of the application screen?

This shows you how much time you have before the system logs you out.  You can log in again.

Do I have to complete my application in one session?

No, you can go back and complete your application at any time.

What if the government changes the form after I have printed?

If the form changes after you have printed and you have not yet sent it to government, you can go back and edit your information.  Our system will update as soon as we receive the new form.  Note, this may take a day or two, but we will advise you on the website about the status of the form update.

I don’t see the application I need on your site, do you have other applications?

We have four application types now: visitor visa, spousal sponsorship, study permit and citizenship.  We will add other forms when there is demand.  Send us an email and let us know what you want and we will add it to our ‘to-do’ list. 

How do I know which application type to choose?

If you are uncertain what kind of application you need, go to the IRCC website and search for information.  We  have a series of questions for each application type that we ask you to answer to determine whether Immigrate Simply is the right choice for your needs.

I answered the first few questions and I was told I should seek immigration advice. Do I have to?

Based on your answers to some questions, we may recommend you contact an immigration professional.  . Immigration professionals understand why the government is asking certain questions and may be able to help you explain your circumstances more completely. We want to increase the probability of having your application accepted. .

I have questions about payment

Do I have to pay before I see my application?

The free preview shows the first page of an application form.  This is the page with your contact information and shows you that the information you are entering is imported into the PDF and will print on the form.  To download all your completed forms, you must pay first.

I submitted payment, but I’m not able to download my PDF.

this may not even happen – just guessing- should see if there’s a troubleshooting answer

I’m having technical issues

I am trying to view the PDF and am getting an error message.

Make sure you have Adobe Reader installed on your device.  If you are using a mobile phone, you might want to try using a desktop or laptop to view the document, again making sure that Adobe Reader is installed.  Click here to install Adobe.

Why doesn’t my phone number appear on the PDF?

We have one annoying bug, and that is that North American phone numbers (country code 1) do not appear on the PDF.  You will have to manually enter the phone number on each of the forms you have downloaded.

How do I make sure my information is saved?

There is a Save button at the bottom of the page, click on that whenever you want to save.  You will also be prompted to Save before you leave a page or exit the portal.
